Coups de Foudre: Who's Affected?

Post by Anonymous Limerent » Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:45 pm

  • Have you ever had a coup de foudre?
  • What personality type (four-letter, Myers-Briggs, 16personalities) are you?
Thanks!

LOL, for me is easier to think of the question: has there ever been a time when I was not under the spell of a "coup de foudre"? and the answer is no.

Having said that, only rarely turned into limerence, specially since I got married.

Can't remember my personality type. E-something :)

Just as a guideline, it does NOT help my experiment if the people who post here don't know the answer to one of the questions.

If you don't know what a coup de foudre is, look it up. If you don't know your personality, go to 16personalities and take their free quiz.

Then feel free to respond... X(

Hmm, strangely ive never had a powerful first moment. Its always been gradual, for those i never talked to or my most intense limerence experiences, i had to be able to see them for some time to develop feelings.
In fact the first times have all been unremarkable. I got INFP A/T

Is funny because, with the ONLY and notable exception of my wife, I never crushed on anyone in a non-"coup de foudre" way, and I never understood how it wasn't like that for anyone. In fact, I used to think that the "fulminancy" of the crush was a direct measure of its quality.

Furthermore, as a teen and young boy, I used to fail to understand why people dated first and married later, because for me, I immediately wanted to marry them five seconds after the lightning.
