ahh I'm so sorry too, I know that brick sinking feeling, it's awful. I hope you're on a bit more of an even keel now that a bit of time has passed.
Does it help you to think you will eventually see / hear from LO again, or just make it worse?
I can't figure it out on my side. I know eventually I'll be back in work with the possibility of seeing LO daily, but in a way I dread it because there's no moving forward with that in the back of my mind. But the unhealthy side of me feels placated knowing it's when, not if.
I've been thinking about trying to come up with a positive mantra to repeat in my head, when i begin to slide. Perhaps you could try something along those lines, to calm your brain? Also, deep 'box' breathing might be worth a shot?

Limlife, in the end the thought of being around LO was making me feel worse because he simply was not interested/didn't have feelings that deep for me so I was just basically getting stressed out by seeing him and knowing that I can't have what I want. It helps enormously that he quit the job so I don't see him at work. Also online communication simply was not bringing me the high anymore because I could feel that he wasn't that into me (apart from obviously never starting the conversation from his side). Now 3 days NC and I know that if I wrote him, all the pain and longing would come back so that's how I understand Coconut, it was pleasure to see/hear from him but slowly it became more and more pain. Like your brick feeling, I don't want to feel it over and over again.
