Feel so ashamed

Post by Notgood1 »

I pursued something with a male colleague of mine ( I am female )and asked him on a date. He went but I don’t think he was too keen . I asked him on another but we never went . Over the following months I kept reaching out ,hoping he may return my feelings. Now I feel like such a fool ! He had no interest in me and I must have made him feel very uncomfortable .
It’s only now I’ve accepted that we will never meet again . I was limerant for 9 months ! What can I do to forget this . I feel ashamed . Do I need I need therapy ?

Do you think you need therapy? At any rate, try not to beat yourself up. Most of us have done similar things. Just brush yourself off, reflect on the whys and try to move forward.
"Tell me...how many times did you have sex with him?" Griselda, Cocaine Godmother
"Six, why?" Affair partner
"Because that's how many times I'm going to shoot you," Griselda

Agree with JupiterTaco. Limerents do such things all the time! Important thing is to move on.
All the best.
