I won’t get married again - but then I’m 66!

Seriously though, this all sounds very reasonable to me. I just can't quite imagine any man actually coming out with this and putting it all on the table. Would you? And if so, at what stage? To be honest also, even though it's good to know the score, I don't know that I wouldn't be a bit freaked out by it at the same time.

I am no expert and I'm married so I'm just speaking from the standpoint of my opinion if I were single. I agree putting it all out there right off the bat is unwise, I DO think that honest discussions with full intent would be something I would appreciate within the first 6 weeks. What's the point wasting time with a person who has different goals? Also the more open a person is upfront the greater the likelihood you can have open communication once in a serious relationship. The hard to get and game business is such a turn off for me. IMJ Just be real and willing your heart broken. It's life. People shouldn't be so damn afraid of rejection..... which is the primary reason to hold back. Additionally, if a person you are dating is so reluctant to tell you what you mean to them then chances are, they will hold back affection once a commitment is made.

=)) =)) =))

I did put it all on the table when I was 17!

I said exactly what I'd tolerate and what I wouldn't.

I said there was no way I was going to be anyone's mother.
