YES! My SO was everything that my parents were not. She was sweet, calm, quiet, forgiving, understanding and encouraging. AND she was beautiful and creative and sexy too. Also she was a little childish in ways that I wanted to be and felt like I couldn't be with anyone as a child. That's why I think I fell so hard. That's why this has been my most intense LE yet. And that's why it's so hard to break away and do not NC. She broke up with me as an intimate partner but unfortunately she was open to remaining friends. I so badly want to remain friends with her and it hurts me so much to know that that can never happen.
