Went to a fascinating talk yesterday on the above. Its being used at the moment for drug resistance depression with excellent results. Totally non-invasive and seems to have few side effects. Its also being trialled with anorexia, OCD and a few other things. The psychiatrist that gave the talk said they are using it on drone pilots to aid there concentration and he uses it to improve his performance at work.
I wonder with the OCD link if it could help with limerence?
A possible recreational "drug" of the future with few downsides?
Cost is currently prohibitive, machines cost $75,000 and a course of treatment $12,000 and needs to be administered by a doctor.
