How Does Your LO Affect You By Seeing Him/Her

I am wondering how many of you are affected by just seeing your LO, with no interaction.

Initially I get a "fight or flight" response, just like one time I turned around at a zoo and a lion was right behind me. After that I feel comforted by his presence.

Yes, frustration is the main feeling for me.
And sadness.
Worked with LO today, he's so indifferent that it makes me cry. Spending a day at work with him around, I just feel gloomy, depressed, melancholic and bored with my job.
And the worst is that I'm always afraid that some day he could leave the place... :-??
When I have this guy around, I feel useless, boring, clumsy and ugly. He makes me feel uninteresting in every way.
In the beginning I just wanted to be his friend. It never happened.
