Richard Buckner was my first ever rock concert. I was in middle school and with my parents. I ended up going to the car with my mom and falling asleep before he (finally) came on stage but he still holds a special place in my heart for that reason.

Anyway this is a great song that might be inspiring to you:

“Six years and I wonder darling if you were worth the wait”

I’m a 21 year old female (single).
My LO is a 54 year old male (married w/ kids).

Another Buckner (probably my favorite):

I've been stunned
And I've been turned
I've been undone and burned
I saw you as the answer to
Years of blue and wonder
Your voice shakes me through
But you don't know what I might be
You haven't seen the worst of me
But when your eyes move up I'm silent
I’m a 21 year old female (single).
My LO is a 54 year old male (married w/ kids).

About living again. Not missing one moment.
I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.

Songs like this make me laugh at the more "narky"traits exhibitedd by my LO and some other LO's I have heard about around here. Why healing? Because the song could've been written about my LO...which still blows my mind and these days just makes me laugh. Laughter is healing....and gets me one step closer to indifference, which I am faking better and better these days. Sometimes I actually FEEL indifferent, which is nice. Anyway, here is the song and lyrics...shared with me by a friend today. She has a beautiful voice too.

You only stop talking
When you're sleeping
There's got to be something wrong
With your past
I can't talk if I'm thinking
I'm not gonna move so fast
Is your life so exciting
You have to tell everyone you meet
Try to make it so enticing
You wear your soul out to your feet
Always leave before them
You want them to think
You've got so much to do
Maybe they're not thinking of you
If you would shut up
Someone could save you
Manipulate everything
And that's how I love you
Is your life so exciting
You have to tell everyone you meet
Try to make it so enticing
You wear your soul out to your feet
Always leave before them
You want them to think
You've got so much to do
Maybe they're not thinking of you
Is your life so exciting
You have to tell everyone you meet
Try to make it so enticing
You wear your soul out to your feet
Always leave before them
You want them to think
You've got so much to do
Maybe they're not thinking of you
If you would shut up
Someone could save you
Manipulate everything
And that's how I love you
