'Over You' by Roxy Music is an interesting one for me in that it is very much about limerence, overcoming dependence etc., yet Bryan Ferry introduces a optimistic simplicity to the whole process; nor is it tainted by association with my period of limerent incipience. With its agreeable instrumental outro, the lyrics and light tone are refreshingly without the heavy melancholic hallmarks of songs either more despairing in evoking limerence or just inextricably linked to limerent formation.
