"Suck It and See" by the Arctic Monkeys. That song really does seem like a limerent song, especially the line "You have got that face that just says, 'Baby, I was meant to break your heart.'

There's some right lightweight mainstream pop rubbish in this thread :-D
Here are some dark and brooding songs that do it for me. I like the melodrama because my tale is of mutual and acknowledged limerence between two people who see each other all the time but can never ever act.
"The Drowners" by Suede. ("Slow down...slow down.....you're taking me over")
"Stretch out and wait" by The Smiths. ("Amid concrete and clay and general decay, nature will still find a way")
"Dogwood Blossom" by Fionne Regan. ("You keep coming into my head without knocking, and you fix yourself there like a map pin")
"Sometimes" by James is the ultimate limerence song for my situation. ("Sometimes, when I look into your eyes I swear I can see your soul")
Limerence is dark, dangerous but also alluring and uplifting. It's music should be like that.

The Troubles, U2, Songs of Innocence
"Somebody stepped inside your soul.
Little by little they robbed and stole
Until someone else was in control."

Ok, now some anti-limerence songs to listen.
I strongly recommend the works of Jonny Jakobsen, aka Dr. Bombay aka Dr. McDoo.
His music looks silly and childish but it's happy and uplifting. Good for us, no love drama involved, no food for the limerbeast.
The style is sorta of techno-dance. My favorites are:
- The Macahula dance
- Under the Kilt
- Mayday
- Lochness
- Bagpipe song
- Calcutta Taxi Taxi Taxi
- Rice and Curry
- Safari
- SOS The tiger took my family
