Sadly no. What I do know is many women struggle equally if not more so, with hormonal changes and loss of purpose with an empty nest.

Also with inequities still being a factor in institutions including marriage, work, etc.

In a nutshell, and just like LE, the role of the mid-life crisis was just another attempt not to settle with self. The illusion you can grab at something to ease the stirring. The insidious part is you self created the stirring.
