Re: Random Thoughts Thread

I wonder who is going to end up with whom on here. It's funny watching people chase each other on the threads. Reminds me of shybi. Where people actually ended up together after weeks of chasing each other, quoting each other to get their attention. It was like watching a drama series =)) Then you'...

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

In my case, turning the sock inside out helps. I circle the sock around the ends of my hair, tuck the hair around it and roll it in. For an outside-in bun, I surround the sock with my hair around the outside, and fold it into the hole and roll it in. It's better than those foam bun rollers they sel...

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

This sock - hair thing is fascinating me. Do you sock-in-hair people have as much hair as a foot is big? I'm thinking you must do, otherwise the sock will fall off. Either that's a lot of hair, or you have tiny feet. :-??

Gosh :-o ! You have black mold in America! I never imagined you had black mold in America. You don't have stinging nettles do you? At least, that's what I heard, that you don't have stinging nettles. :-\

Oh dear :( . Is it under a flat roof? I'm strongly opposed to flat roofs - for exactly that sort of reason.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

I could never marry a man who put mayonnaise on his chips. Or fries, if you prefer to use that term. (I'm talking about approximate cuboids of potato, preferably chunky, where one dimension is much greater than the other two, that are deep fried and served hot.)

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

While I'm on the subject of time, can I ask if the people here who aren't in the same time zone as Greenwich Mean Time, or British Summer Time as it is now, do you see the time stamp on posts on this forum correct for your own time zone? I expect the time stamp on this post will be around 12:28 a.m....

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

Why does time go forward instead of backward? That's one of those questions that, as far as I can make out, no-one really knows the answer to. I've got a vague recollection that even Stephen Hawking was stumped by it. There doesn't seem to be any good explanation, other than, perhaps, if it went th...
